DevelopU: Securing Your Business Against Cyberattack

Join us for this DevelopU event which will focus on securing your business against cyberattack with presenter Justin Yapp of Embry Riddle Aeronautical University's Department of Electrical, Computer, Software, and Systems Engineering. Businesses today are faced with securing their networks against everything from ransomware and phishing attacks to the new risks posed by employees working remotely on their home networks. This event is Wednesday, May 4, from noon to 130 PM at the Riverside Pavilion, 3431 Ridgewood Avenue, Port Orange. Your paid admission includes a sandwich and drink lunch.

About the speaker: Justin has been in the cybersecurity space for over 10 years. He is an alumnus of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, graduating with a Masters in Cybersecurity Engineering and is now a doctoral candidate in the Electrical Engineering and Computer Science program. He currently works as a graduate researcher for Embry-Riddle’s Next-Generation Advanced Research lab, working on numerous cybersecurity related, FAA sponsored projects. He also works as the Chief Software Developer at a small home improvement finance company, creating secure web applications for its clients and ensuring safe and reliable communication to various lending institutions.
